"Getting" the blogger thing
Oh I get it...as a blogger...to be famous or "micro famous" you have to write about something other than your own lie I mean own life... like technology or politics or...yeah that stuff.
Or you have had to have gone to a fairly kick ass school, twice (Bachelor's, then the obligatory masters) and now be a Someone-Important-In-Residence at the Institute of Technical Something or the Center to Study Stuff of the Utmost Importance in the World.
'K.
But what about the rest of us wannabee's?

Addition to the 100 Things about me List
57. I know just enough technology to understand 51% of what is discussed and bluff my way through the rest. I credit much of my ability to fix things like computers to intuitive intelligence beamed to me from my deceased Grandmother. Truly, most of the time I have NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING. But, stuff does get fixed so I try not to jinx it by too much analysis.
58. Unlike many boomers, I currently have the blessing and curse of working for an employer that still provides a pension. As such I am chained/ happily residing with the employer for the rest of my productive life. (I also live 15 minutes from work and get parking in the building...that makes up for lots of shortcomings, eh?)
59. If I got off my duff and learned all the stuff that nobody likes to figure out (yes more technology), I'd be the belle, the virtual ringer at the ball. In 2005, especially, it's time to stop being a poseur and begin being a (hush, now) more active enlightened show-er (definition of a show-er: A knower who is interested in teaching others what they know).
S'nuf fer now.
